In this role, you will oversee the manufacture of our clothing products at both our own and external production facilities in Eastern Europe. You will act as the technical liaison between our development team and the production sites, and play a key role in ensuring our quality standards are met.
FULL-TIME – PERMANENT
Your responsibilities are as follows:
- Technical support and ongoing supervision of production at our own and external manufacturing sites in Eastern Europe.
- Regular visits to our production sites to ensure that production runs smoothly
- Support with the introduction of new models and production processes.
- Monitoring compliance with our quality standards, and identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
- Analysis and resolution of technical and production-related challenges directly on site.
- Close collaboration with the product development, procurement and quality management departments, as well as with production partners.
- Training and support for production staff on technical issues.
- Documentation of production processes and the development of proposals for improvement
THIS IS YOUR PROFILE:
- A completed vocational training programme or degree in clothing technology, textile technology, garment manufacturing or a comparable qualification.
- Several years’ experience in clothing production or production management would be an advantage.
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes in the ready-to-wear clothing industry.
- A strong commitment to quality and a thorough understanding of technical matters.
- An independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
- A high willingness to travel within Eastern Europe.
- Good command of German and English; knowledge of other Eastern European languages would be an advantage.
